I would hope to game on a surround setup of three monitors. I'm buying a single graphics card right now and I like the GTX 760 3gb. I want to game on ultra settings too, on three monitors. If I need to go to 770 or 780 so be it. I will just have to save more money and wait longer. Also My board is quad SLI capable with all cards at x8. Two cards will be X16 each. My PSU is 750w right now, to add another card or more what PSU wattage should I upgrade to?

update: my monitors are all ASUS 21.5" 1920x1080

The performance will be lot better with a GTX 770. A 2 GB VRAM will be enough for triple monitor setup. 4 GB will be an overkill. For a SLI setup the PSU is perfect. If you want a 3 way SLI, then I would say 850W will be safe.

so a single 2gb 770 would work for three monitors? I've heard different. I thought VRAM was for multiple monitors.

No, I prefer NVidia and always trust NVidia. Those are just examples to how much VRAM is needed for triple monitor setup. So don't worry about 2GB VRAM it will be sufficient for your setup. Ok, if 2GB bothers you then get 3GB VRAM for peace of mind, but 4GB will still be an overkill. And go for single GTX 770.
