I'm planning on building a gaming PC and my budget is 1700. I won't be streaming and I'll be using two 1920x1080p monitors(but will only game on one). What would be the best for 1700?

Or he can screw the SSD, take my build and replace the Corsair Vengeance kit with the G.Skill kit if he wants cheaper RAM and boom he got both value and performance mixed into one big messy box called a gaming computer.

the issues i have with digestive's build is the overpriced and useless memory, the fact that a better heatsink will help when overclocking haswell, the lack of a SSD (which effectively bottlenecks the system)

as for the ud3h, id rather get the d3h. just less sata ports that you arent going to use

If it's for less money than sure you can cut down on those 2 things but it's whether he wants more performance or better budget build, and yes the cooler is good which can easily help get ABOVE 4GHz without getting close to the overheating point. But it differs fromm person to person. And SSD is not worth paying for if he can't afford it, they are pretty expensive right now and he should save the SSD for an upgrade in the future IMO.

-lower the clockspeed on the ram as it does nothing
-increase cooling potential
-840 pro has no real world benefits over a standard SSD. you pay 50 bucks for nothing essentially
-4gb 770s are completely useless. a 770 isnt even powerful enough to drive the extra vram
-i doubt the watches blu-rays. wouldnt bother with one if i were you

Could you show/tell me which parts to swap for them instead.
