Ok so I updated my bios, then it reset everything, I had to redo all of my overclocking. I set the volts to 1.3v (stock volts for 4.1 turbo) and I was moving up 100mhz at a time from 3500, I got to 3700 and there was nothing on my ssd... everything was gone. I ran at 3500mhz/3600mhz @ 1.3v fine, prime95'd for 10 mins.
I transfered the data on my hdd to a spare hdd I have. But when I plugged the spare one in after I got windows re-installed on the barracuda it wouldn't show up. Now the drive does show up on any pc in my house and it makes loud noises when you first turn it on?
Build:
CPU - AMD FX-6300
MOBO - ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
PSU - Corsair HX750
GPU - Evga 560 ti
CPU Cooler - Hyper 212 Sp120 p/p
SSD - 128Gb OCZ Vector
HDD - 500gb 7200rpm 6gb/s Seagate barracuda

SSDs do not have any moving parts in them so the loud noises you're hearing are probably not coming from the SSD.

If you can see the Vector when you boot from your HDD then download and run OCZ's Toolbox and see if the Vector is on the latest firmware version 2.0.
If you can't see the Vector from your HDD then go to OCZ Support Forum and talk to the staff there and see if they can help you fix your problem.

I had transfered all of the data on my storage hdd (ssd/hdd setup) and the drive that I stored it to was making the noise. SSD is silent still. Won't show up anywhere not even on different pc's.. It seems every drive I plug into sata port 1 gets fried... Should I contact asus?
