Is my pump loud???

Hi guys,

I have recently purchased an entry level water cooling kit (the XSPC Raystorm 750 RS240). I installed the kit without any issues. Over the past week or so I have noticed that my pump seems to be running louder than it originally was.

Is there anyway to upload a video to a thread??? I have a video of the pump running and then me pulling the power.

I am currently talking with XSPC about this matter but I don't think I will get anywhere. I would like to know if I'm being too picky about noise!?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply I' pretty sure its not vibration as its intermittent. It sounds like a quiet pneumatic drill (in pitch/tone and speed). Really struggling with XPSC they're telling me its fine after thy have reviewed the video I have been told 42dB should be the loudest it will run at but I have downloaded a dB meter on my phone (I know its not the most accurate but I have no other way of testing it) and that was giving me readings of 62dB with no case fans running.
