Profile cannot be loaded F8 does not work

help please! the only account on this laptop cannot be accessed and I cannot enter advanced boot options not even from the boot manager, this is a toshiba laptop

This is mother's laptop she has the only admin account why would i bother accessing somebodies account if i could just format it and clean install? anyway whatever, looks like its back to factory settings, thanks a lot there Captain Assumption.

Anyway I'm not asking how to access the account but how to fix a corrupt profile, I have the Toshiba recovery wizard discs but I'm unsure if there is a repair option or will just straight up wipe the hdd so I'm holding off on using them for now.
