Solved Did I order the wrong motherboard? (Fractal R4) Two USB 3.0 Slots (Only one USB 3.0 Header on Mobo!) Tags: Motherboards Last response: September 21, 2013 3:42 PM in Motherboards Share curioususer123 September 21, 2013 3:40:35 PM I'm a newbie builder and just ordered my parts. My mobo is the Gigabyte Z87 HD3 and in the specs it says Internal IO has 3 x USB 2.0 1 x USB 3.0 Header (also 4 x USB 3.0 on the back) While the Fractal R4 case has 2 USB 3.0 slots and 2 USB 2.0 slots on the front. Will this mean I'm going to have one less USB 3.0? Here is a picture of my motherboard: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/gigabyte-ga-z87-hd3-inte... The case should have a single cable for both USB headers, but in the event that it doesn't you can always get a USB 3.0 splitter which are relatively cheap. Share Can't find your answer ? Ask !
