how much memory do i need

Solution
So, for gaming, get this one. This is available for just 49 dollars after Mail-In-Rebates. Though for 10 more dollars, you can get Kingston Predator 2133 Mhz RAM but I was not sure if your motherboard supports it or not which is why I am suggesting this one instead.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $49.99
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

I hope this helps. So, will it do for you?
When you buy ram look at the motherboard qal list for tested ram first. Then use parts picker to look to see if there any good ram on sale or combo. Most new mb will run with one dimm but most now have duel memory controllers so to get the best speed most new mb look for two matched dimms. With newer ram stick be carefull of the heat spreaders. Lot of them like the one you picked are tall and sometime don't fit under some air coolers. Look at low profile ram.

You do not need 16GB's of RAM for gaming at all. You need more RAM for Video Editing and server stuff only.

So if you are not going to do Video Editing, then get this one :
