According to my research, 8550G came out in few months after a release of 7640G. They perform similar benchmarks and everything in performance.... Now... I need to know which is better? For gaming and daily use? I would be appreciated if someone here helps me out!

what games are u looking to play?go for the 8850g as it has a faster core speed and its newer. The amount of Vram doesnt really matter if the gpu is not fast enough.

its basically the same.gamedebate sometimes doesn't have enough info about apu graphics.so i would go for the 8550g.also why not search for laptop with both integrated apu and dedicated gpu.so that it can be crossfire to give a better performance.

As stated by kookie3010, the Radeon HD 8550G should be better.

The only real difference between the two is that the HD 8550G is clocked a little bit higher. Therefore, it should perform a little better. The 7640G is clocked @ 497MHz while the 8850G is clocked at 515MHz. A 3.6% increase in clockspeed.... whoopie!!!!
