Are my PC system specs make a good gaming system? What things would you recommended for a better gaming experience?

Here are my system specs:

Processor: AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
Installed memory 9(RAM): 4.00(3.47 GB usable)
System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64 based processor

    The thing you have to keep in mind when choosing a laptop is that laptop CPUs are in no way shape or form identical to their desktop counterparts. They're made for low power requirements and as such, they will be far less powerful than they will be on a desktop.

    OK. but what would you recommend so my laptop could be powerful for gaming? I wanted to get a desktop for gaming but my parents wouldn't let me.

    forgot one thing my laptop is quad-core,has an accelerated processor, 4096 MB DDR3 SDRAM, WLAN, Windows 8.

  9. sell it and if you can't get a desktop although that would be ideal get a razer blade, portable not 999999 dollars and pretty good
