Noooo, I'd certainly wait if you have the option. The 800 series will be an architecture change which happens every 2 years and there's going to be plenty efficiency benefits to it. Among other things, gpu memory will be able to talk to cpu memory directly - which is impossible right now - AND the 800 series will have Nvidia's Denver ARM core in each gpu... definitely something to wait for, but it depends on what you're using... Then again, I'm on an aging GTX470 that can still push through the newest games, even if it's an effort...
