I heard this card was really bad at over heating because of it having only 1 fan :(

I wouldn't really be concerned so much about heat on this card. Typical GPUs can reach temps of 80C normally. The fan will also increase its speed automatically if the card reaches a certain temperature.

It will run cooler if you have a couple of decent case fans, too.
