Hello, I'm building a budget gaming pc as an upgrade to an old Pentium 4 and i'm in the stage of picking componants. I just want to know is the Pentium G2120 compatible with the Asrock H61M-DGS straight out the box without doing a BIOS update? Thanks.

It looks like that cpu has been supported since bios 1.10, and I do not see any earlier versions listed than that. Looking like a pretty good bet that yes, your board will have at least version 1.10 and support the G2120
