Hi there,
I just re installed a fresh Windows 7 and a few days afterward I wanted to access some saved Youtube videos FLV and today my music files on MP3 and everything has vanished. I did a scan with Getdataback and it wont find a thing... All that remains is the folders and they are empty. GDB can find only the jpgs with cover art but the mp3s are gone. Here is a screen capture:

The install has been performed on main HDD on system partition, the missing files were on the secondary partition that has been kept unchanged.
Scanning full system with F-Secure and no virus found...
My system is securely locked up by a password with a 10mn timer on auto log out.
I actually noticed something inadequate when I started using this new install... It seemed that the system was asking me if I was the owner of certain folders and files and I had to do some workarounds in order to get to them. It is indeed the first time I use the Windows Easy Transfer tool but did it all like in the tutorial and used the same name on transfer tool as well as on the new install.... So there must be some sort of confusion Windows is having somewhere up the stream.
However if it was some ownership conflict or assimilated problem I would be able to see the files after scanning with getdataback... right?
Never seen this before and I'm using windows since 1993.
Any idea of what happened?
Really strange...
