Is my CPU cooler compatible?

Just wondering if the fan has to be a specific size for different cases/CPUs.

I'm going to buy an asus sabertooth 990fx R2.0 as the motherboard
Case: Cit mars midi tower
CPU: AMD FX-6300

Can someone tell me what determines whether or not a fan will fit into a setup.

I'm looking to buy the cooler master hyper 212 EVo (120mm)

Yep, the Hyper 212 Evo will fit into the case fine.

The Hyper 212 Evo comes with a mounting bracket that you can use on Intel 1556/1155/1150 sockets as well as the AM3+ socket on the Asus Sabretooth board.

Thats a good one.However,I am not familiar with that case.What I have purchased recently is the TX3 EVO,because this one fits the bill of any micro-ATX.
And if can squeeze more your pocket I suggest go for Corsair Liquid Coolers.
