Hello gentlemen,
I've built this system after I did some research, but I am not good in HW, so I would like to ask you for some feedback. I really appreciate your help you, thank you very much!

Approximate Purchase Date: this week (as soon as I/you choose the best parts)

Budget Range: cca 1000$ (I am from Czech Republic and prices here are quite different, so it's just estimate)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: It will be mostly workstation for me - programming in Netbeans/other IDE + Internet with 15+ tabs + running localhost server + Photoshop and other cca 10. running programs. I would like to play occasionally games, but I definitely don't require high details etc. The work is more important than games.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes, but I have different budget for it, I chose: LG IPS235P

Parts to Upgrade: Buying new PC from scratch + LCD monitor. I got peripherals.

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: none, I will buy it from czech ecommerce site

Location: Czech Republic

Parts Preferences: none

Overclocking: Maybe [if it's worth it, e.g. overclocked i5-3570K vs. i5-3570)

SLI or Crossfire: I think it's has no point for me now, maybe after few years? (correct me please if I am wrong)

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920 x 1200 would be nice

Additional Comments: I would like to have this computer another 3 - 4 years (for work), so I am trying to build computer with enough performance to cover my requirements for PC. Having a computer where I could play new games (Skyrim, Call of Duty etc) would be great, but I don't expect to play such games on higher details.

I also built a cheaper system, with CPU i5-3750, motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V LX2 - Intel Z77 and without CPU cooler. But I am not able to say, whether this cheaper build will be enough for me next 3, 4 years. What do you think?

Why Are You Upgrading: my old notebook died.

Thanks for responding, NotSoCivil.

I checked the CPU you recommend me and I probably go for it. I read some comparisions and reviews and it looks great, except that it looks like i5-3570k looks like better for overclocking a little. In the case I would OC, isn't it big deal?

And what about motherboard for i5-4670k? This ASR Extreme 4 Z87 or is there any better for it?

Thank you!

the Extreme 4 motherboard is good.

The Haswells are a bit better in performance and are updated, i don't really know about the overclocking but Without overclock, the 4570k will outdo the 3570k by about 10% and i also heard about the 4570k not overclocking well.

I'd research a bit more and find out more about the two to see which would perform better.
