I only built my first PC last year, so since then the only form of cooling I have experienced is air cooling. Later this year I was thinking about buying a second GPU and going for crossfire, but temperature is my main worry. I have a single XFX Radeon HD 7950 which runs about 40 degrees idol and 70 degrees when playing high spec games. However, I fear that having two of them running simultaneously will push temperatures above 80, and I think air cooling won't be sufficient.
The problem is, I have no idea how to buy a correct water cooling kit, or how to install it. Also, will water cooling take up too much room for me to have crossfire? The concept of using water cooling is only in the idea stage for me at the moment, so I just thought I'd leave this post.
Thanks
