Best Processor for Next Gen Gaming? (GTA-V)

I'm looking to find out which Processor would be the best for next gen games and what's the difference between i7 and i7 K?

The k version is unlocked which means you can overclock it . If you have the money go with the i7 if not the i5 is sufficient for gaming.

There are guides available on how to overclock AMD & Intel CPUs. You can google for them. There is also an overclocking sub-forum here at THG:

I generally go for Intel CPUs because they are more powerful than what AMD has to offer, but they also cost a little more. I generally recommend gamers buy an i5-4670k instead of the i7-4770k. The i7 has Hyper Threading (HT), but the vast majority of games do not use HT. Battlefield 3 multiplayer is the one game I can think of that gets some benefit from HT.
