So currently i am building a htpc and i am in need of a mini itx board. Problem is i was trying to find AMD cpu supported ones but i have found verry little information of them. I have found a couple of them but overall, like 99% are Intel builds.

So my problem is that i am trying to build a cheap htpc. So that rules intel out for the most part.
I will be doing lite gaming. emulators so i dont need anything to extreme.

If you find a site that has a few of them. I do not care about onboard video as i am going to use a gpu. not sure if it matters but the gpu is a Radeon 6450 2gb low profile fanless

Oh right, i would suggest finding a CPU you like the look of then choosing a motherboard, 'cause you need to find the right socket, it looks like your trying to build a cheap budget build so i would suggest getting the Athlon II X4 970, only about £50 and it is a very good cpu for that price, probably one of the best :3

really.

thank you.
if i were to just use this for light gaming and mostly streaming from my other computer and sites liek netflix/hulu. Should i go dual or quad? i dont really need much

For typical HTPC usage, a duo is fine. You also do not need much in the way of graphics to do such things as play music or HD movies.
Integrated graphics should suffice.
I suggest you reexamine the Intel option.
You can buy a G1610 for as little as $50.
A faster haswell G3220 with better graphics is $70.

If you play fast action games, then you will want a discrete graphics card anyway.

They are very cpu efficient and run cool. That is important for a small HTPC case.

i got the software i want to use. WinDVD Pro 11 is the one i liked the most for video and audio.

i just want to make sure that the cpu will be able to supply a 3d feed if needed. or will i need to buy a gpu to supply it.
