I recently built a new PC and installed Windows 7 32bit on it. Works fine. The problem is it was only detecting 2.22GB RAM instead of 4GB. (I know it is because of a 32bit OS) so I tried installing 64bit but then at the end of installation, it shows that windows setup could not configure of your setup. I tried pressing shift F10 and then all that msoobe procedure but still after asking the time and date when it reaches to "Finalizing your config" it goes back to the window where it said "Windows setup...." With the cmd window open.
PC Specs - AMD A8 5600K Black Edition
MSI FM2-A55M-E33 motherboard
4GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM
1TB Green HDD WD 7200rpm

Keep in mind that if you are using the integrated video adapter provided by the APU that it uses main memory. So, using 32-bit Windows 7, and assuming you have 1GB of memory dedicated to the APU for video, then the amount recognized is about right.

When you attempted to install the 64-bit flavor, did you boot from the DVD and attempt to install a new, clean install?

Yes, I deleted all the partitions and created them again. Before installing, formatted all the partitions (not the system reserved ones :p). Still I am facing the same problem.
