Hey,

So I have now figured out that I can't do system image to my NAS, guess I should have got pro. Is their a work around? Could I create image on internal drive then move the file over to NAS after it's created?

Thank you

The only work around that I know of is if you have a Windows Home Server. 7home can backup to that fine.

Yes you can backup to another internal (or external) drive but the internal drive has to be a storage drive not linked to the main drive, ie - nothing that starts with boot or windows is stored on the secondary drive. If windows thinks its part of the OS then that wont work. its ok to load programs, apps, games on the secondary drive as long as they dont startup with windows, just to be clear.
I ran into this too having '7 Home' on two of my htpc's. (I went the WHS route)

Another problem is you cant restore form the nas either with home edition. So you're best bet is to use something other than windows backup and many Nas's come with backup software.

Which Nas do you have?
