GPU: msi twin frozr radeon 7850
CPU: fx 6300
Motherboard: gigabyte ga-990fxa-ud3
cooler: hyper master evo 212
monitor: asus vh239p or something like that

and some other stuff I probably forgot. I know seasonic/xfx are known for good power supplies but I need to know how much I need. like 550 or 650 or 750?

And is this overclockable?

Both will fit your needs , and are high quality units from Seasonic.

I would go with the 2nd one , because it's semi-modular and will allow some overclocking.

Yes , your system can be overclocked.

Oh I was looking at the first one a while back and heard some good stuff about it but I'm worried if I ever decide to overclock that 550w will fail and something bad will happen

Are you sure it's safe? If so I'll probably get that or the second one you mentioned

Agh sorry I have one last question if anyone knows but it's related to the PSU blackbird suggested.

this one
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006BCKHIQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
is almost the same price as the one you mentioned and it has more wats

the one you mentioned:

Should I get the rosewill one or stick with the one you suggested? It has more wats and is practically the same price. Then again I'm probably leaving out a thousand different factors

edit: oh the one I listed isn't modular that was why. is being modular important?
