Problem with External Hard Drive Toshiba 500gb
It DOESN’T show on “My computer”, (I´ve already tried assigning a letter, no success)
It DOES shows up on Devices as “External USB 3.0”
It DOES show on “Computer Management”-“Disk Management” The Initialize disk wizard comes up and I have tried to do both option (MBR & GPT) and a window comes up with "incorrect function" I can see the disk in disk management but when I right click on the Disk 1 the only options are Initialize Disk, Offline, properties and help. “Initialized disk” takes me back to the wizard asking to choose from MBR to GPT. Offline takes me to “Incorrect Function” pop up.
There has to be an answer/tool out there! I’ve tried Partition Wizard but it won’t run with the HDD plugged. If I unplugged it works but then crash if I plug back in de HDD.
Please please HELP!
