Hello!

I'm opening a comic book shop, and we need a computer to use as a point of sale system. I want to make the computer from parts to save some cash.

The requirements for the system: It has to be able to run office software easily and without any lag. Programs we plan on using include Microsoft office, Quickbooks, and Lighspeed Cloud (a browser based POS system that runs in Firefox).

Budget: Not technically limited, but I'm looking to spend as little as I can while still getting the type of system I want.

My friend suggested this build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/CygnusRising/saved/2qPK

I just wanted to get some second opinions and see if you guys spot any improvements I could make before I place my order.

Thanks so much!

We have been using a system by a company in Birmingham, they produced training video's which we found made life really easy

And when we phoned them for support they just made a new training video for each item we phoned about which was really cool

We bought our EPOS system for one bar from them refurbished at a good price, but we use our own computer for the one at the Maitre'D station, and it works just as well with their software and it was only £59

Thanks for deleting your first message and making the link your site more subtle. You do know that this is over years old as a thread now?
