I'm not really good with Temperature tampering etc; but I'm using this current build

AMDFX8350

Antec 620w high current gamer 80plus bronze psu

ASUS M5a78LM-USB3.0 MATX

8gb ddr3 Corsair Ven LP

H60 Water Cool

GTX650 TI Windforce 2gb memory 2x

I'm wondering how hot it's suppose to be normally and if it's way to high above normal

Im using PC PROBE II that came with the installation disc from the Mobo

-PC while Gaming
35-42c -CPU
36-45c -MB
those were just my estimates since i haven't seen the marker go above 45c or 50c for the CPU and MB

Game I've been using
The Walking Dead On High

Just wondering what temps i should look out for please and thanks!

Solution
Yeah those are great temperatures!

The CPU can reach max of 60c. It can still operate at 60c but it may not be optimal and could give you issues, i.e. slow downs, restarts, shutdowns.

I have nearly the same setup as you except the MB and GPU. I have the same CPU, PSU and RAM. Nice choice!

Actually, it depends on what specific temperature is being reported. I believe Tjunction is most common and that's supposedly 70degC but then I've heard people have had 73degC working so it's difficult to say (lot of contradictory info on the web):

Yeah that's true. I hear more of 60c for AMD CPU's which is a little ridiculous considering the AMD processors run hot already.

62°C really.

What are you referring to?
I just showed there is Tcase and Tjunction and Tjunction gets over 70degC.

Unless you disagree with the link I'd probably go with that.

Regardless, it's really a non-issue as the original poster has adequate cooling so nothing to worry about.

I have always seen max Tcase reported as 62°C.
