Hi, I'm going to build a rig PC for 1366x768res gaming. Which would be a no-overkill and cheap GPU? I want to play any game at ultra settings, including crysis 3, bf3, metro last light, outlast, bioshock,.... I need the cheapest option available please. Thanks in advance.

Solution
look, ultra settings is a bit tricky, in games like crysis 3 and metro last light anti aliasing is so demanding that on MAX anti aliasing in both these games i doubt and single gpu would maintain 60 fps even on ur resolution.

but, lets ignore antialiasing in crysis 3 and metro last light, and maybe some other VERY demnading fetarues( there arent many) that you can give up on, on ur resolution, which is considered quite low for todays standarts and what high end cards are capable of, i would say a gtx 760 is a good option, and will perform VERY well in games and well allow u too max out and get a smooth experience in almost anything.

if u do wanna go overkill, and be safe more for maxing out future games, maybe consider getting a 770(...

you have to understand, there is no limit, you will benefit from any card, or even dual cards, but you have to set the limit.

Well, that depend son what you consider an acceptable framerate. Crysis 3 on ultra even at 1366x768 is a tall order. If you can forget about that one, a 7850 will crank out ultra with at least 50fps average on pretty much everything else.

Asus Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card ($129.60 @ Newegg)

* you don't really need the 2gb version for you resolution, but it's $4.50 more than the 1gb.

If you absolutely must have crysis 3 maxed as well, go 7970.
PowerColor Radeon HD 7970 3GB Video Card ($269.99 @ NCIX US)
