how to get better performance

I just installed a new Z87X-OC motherboard and core i5 4670k processor and the performance of the processor is really bad benchmark is really low and on the windows experience index its rating is only 4.8 how can I boost the performance

Your processor's WEI rating is only 4.8? Yes, something is wrong. Were you running the WEI with something else else going on in the background?

It's not a process of "improving" the performance. It will be a process of finding what is wrong.

ok so I just took took the cpu out of the board blew it all off lightly with compressed air put all back together and wei rating went to 8.1 and its all running like a dream
