Hello..

It's been a while that I was thinking about adding another PC, the current one I'm playing WoW on is 7 years old and it gets really frustrating at times to play on.

So the specs I'm considering for my new PC are the following:

CPU: Intel i7-4770K Tray - 3.5GHz (Turbo 3.9GHz) 8MB s1150 tray
Motherboard: Z87 Extreme3 Intel Z87 s1150, Quad SLI/SATA3&USB3.0/A&GbE
Video Card: nVidia GTX770 2GB sDDR5 2*DVI/HDMI
RAM: 16GB [2*8GB] DDR3 1600 HyperX Black Series
HDD: 2TB Western Digital Green 3.5" 7200rpm SATA3
PSU: Gamers 950W Power Supply Unit

The only one I'm undecided about is the CPU Cooler since the CPU Cooler I found is a socket 1155 and the CPU listed has a 1150 socket.. would it still fit or would I need to find a CPU Cooler with the same socket as the CPU?

Kindly leave any helpful feedback please!

Thanks in advance,
Matt

Thanks on the feedback on the socket, was uncertain about that.. :) As regards to the PSU it's an MS-Tech N950 VAL below are the features of the PSU:

  • 950 Watt Power supply ATX 2.3
    1x 20 + 4 pin ATX 12V
    1 x P4+4
    8x SATA
    1x floppy
    4x Molex
    1x 6Pin PCI-Express
    1x 2Pin PCI-Express
    PFC Aktiv, OPP, Power Switch
    1x Fan 14cm (ball bearing)

About the CPU Cooler I'm undecided between:

Glaciatech Igloo 6200 PWM for s.2011 Intel i7 38XX & 39XX
or
Zalman CNPS8900-Extreme Ultra Quiet Slim CPU Cooler
or
Arctic Cooling Freezer i30 CPU Cooler Air Series

which one should I go for?

Thanks,
Matt
