Skyrim Lags after i installed a mod

After i installed and downloaded an online mod for skyrim...it failed so i decided to uninstall it but now it lags.

Specs-

AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core Processor
3.60GHz
Ram-8.00 GB
Graphics- AMD Radeon HD 6670

a fresh install will always fix said problem. but I would recommend going to the a Skyrim mod forums like Nexus or directly to the mod creator for better answers.

Also in the future give as much information as possible when describing the problem.
