Is is possible to put this PCIe SSD in a larger PCIe slot, like a 16x or 8x slot?

Alternatively, could I move my graphics card down to the slot on the very end
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... is the motherboard. Could I use the bottom slot without any performance decrease? Or the black? My soundcard needs to go in the PCI slot and those are the only two slots that could accommodate all three cards.

All PCIe slots are backwards compatible. You can put that x2 SSD in a x4, x8 or x16 slot if you wish. You can even put it in a x1 slot (but it will only receive only half the bandwidth otherwise available)

Here is an excellent video explaining the basics of PCIe ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSSHuMHbCWo

Yes, you can install into any x4, x8, or x16 slot. PCIe slots are backward compatible.

Pretty much the above answers, your fine to stick whatever PCIe card into whatever PCIe slot you want, its just a matter at that point whether the slot can provide adequate bandwidth (which it will if the slot has more lanes).
