Turning on my Pc screen makes my psu whine ?

There is a whining sound coming from my pc.

I thought it was the psu, but when I turned the monitor off, the whine went.

What could be the problem here.

I had the same problem last week, it ended up being my monitor interfering with my speakers somehow.. Are you able to track down exactly where the sound is coming from?
