Your phrasing is a bit ambiguous, so I will answer this in two ways. The first being that you already downloaded and installed the drivers, but your adapter still does not show up in the device driver menu. - When you plug the network cable in the connection on the mobo, do you see any lights come on inside the socket?

In the event you can not see the device driver on the device driver menu, but have not yet installed the drivers because you cannot access the internet. I would suggest doing as Tradesman1 says, either have a friend load it onto a flash drive, or load them yourself from a public computer--library,school etc.

Incase you need it, here is a link to what should be the proper drivers for your motherboard. This will...

Incase you need it, here is a link to what should be the proper drivers for your motherboard. This will include the Ethernet Driver.

There is a chance your motherboard may also have a physical problem causing this. If my first two suggestions do not work, try loading a bootable linux OS, such as knoppix, or even something like AVG's rescue disk. See if they can connect to the internet as they often come preloaded with the necessary drivers to connect to the internet upon loading.

Best of luck to you, and look forward to hearing some good news.
