I currently have a fx 6100 and a 2gb gtx 670 ftw. I plan on upgrading to a 3570k and a new 2560x1080 monitor. My question is can my setup support that resolution while playing games like crysis 3 and far cry 3 at the max settings or near the max (like no aa). And if not, what should i upgrade so that I can.

due to money constraints, would my current fx 6100@4ghz bottleneck the 670 sli

The GTX 670 can get 39 fps or 42 fps in your favorite games at 1920x1080 at max settings. At 2560x1080, I expect it will get around 30 fps at max settings. You can lower settings just like they did for 2560x1600 in that review, and you'll get over 40 fps.

Or you can upgrade the graphics card to GTX 780. I wouldn't upgrade from GTX 670 to anything else from those charts because the difference would be too small. Keep in mind that the GTX 780 needs a 600W PSU or larger.

Or you can play with the GTX 670 for another year, then upgrade to something better than the GTX 780.
