i wanted to upgrade my RAM and my friend suggested that i should try the Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600MHz 1x8GB, is this compatible with FM2 socket processors or should I get the G Skills Ripjaws 2x4GB 1600MHz ? as I've heard, Crucial RAMs have compatibility issues with certain AMD boards and I want to make sure before I make my purchase..
Is Crucial Ballistix Sport any good ?

I'd go the 2x4GB GSkill, it let you enable dual channel for a bit of a performance boost

A single stick will only run in single channel, dual channel can provide up to a 10% or so boost, performance wise

got the Ripjaws, at first I asked him about the Crucial Ballistix because the kit is cheaper then Ripjaws, he said it had some issues with FM2s, so that's a thumbs up for not giving misleading information. The Ripjaws are great ! thanks for the answers.
