i want 2 2tb drives to show up as 1 4tb drive and for it to act like a 4tb drive without speed loss. i dont really care about data striping or whatever. just for windows to recognize 2 2tb drives as 1 4tb so i can have more space. it can help if a drive fails not all of them fail

There’s no redundancy for spanning either.

Again, there’s no redundancy, so if one of your drives dies then you lose all of your data; so have a backup plan.
