sorry for my bad English.
I have a laptop from asus model # k52je
it includes ATI mobility 5400 series hd graphics adapter. i am facing a strange problem when i install driver for this graphics card system starts freezing eventually, even when i open a link in new tab in firefox. some times when firefox is running and i open google chrome it also freezes. hdd light remains still during this freeze period, mouse pointer moves but i can not click on any thing. this remains for 2 to 3 minutes, some times more then this after that system becomes normal but it happens more often. i am using windows seven ultimate sp1 64bit. i have already tried installing latest drivers and tried old drivers also from asus website. if i do not install driver for this graphics card everything works fine, so this is comfirmed that ATI driver is causing problem. is there some configurations in catalyst control center to overcome this problem ? any help will be highly appriciated.

my system specs are:

ASUS K52je Notebook having .....
intel core i5 2.53 ghz processor.
4 gb ddr3 ram.
windows ultimate 64bit.
500 gb 5400 rpm segate hdd.
ATI mobility HD Graphics 5400 Series ddr3 , 512mb

Go direct to AMD website for your graphics driver.
Before you install driver, you need to delete first the old driver using AMD clean up Utility.
