Hi
i'm going to convert to gigabyte from Intel.
Motherboard i'm going to buy is Gigabyte B75M-D3H.it's a old chipset but coz i have a 2nd gen.i7 so this the best i found yet cost me 80$ which is just fine for me.
This board supports Radeon Crossfire as stated in description
Question:- dost a dual PCI-E board supports specific tech like crossfire or SLI or a board having dual PCI-E supports both of them as Global stranded.

Solution

Z77 will work fine for 2600K, but the corresponding SLI/Xfire capable chipset for Sandy Bridge is Z67 or P67.

Nowhere is it a rule that a board with two PCIe x16 slots has to support XFire or SLI. However, most boards do if for no other reason than as a sales feature. Usually, a board will literally say if has support, though you can always look up the specific board if it doesn't say.

Even if a board has multiple PCIe slots, it may not support XFire or SLI due to the BIOS or UEFI. Some boards only support one or the other.

Chances are such boards would support Crossfire but not SLi due to an SLi board needing both an Nvidia cookie and for at least 8x + 8x on the PCIe lanes.

here we have one X16 and one X4
So i think no SLI :(

It does NOT support SLI, since SLI require at least 2 PCI-e x8 ports... Like I said, you need Z77 and a board that SPECIFICALLY states SLI support.

Apologies, that is Z68, not Z67...

Cheapest Z68 I could find.

Cheapest P67 : Keep in mind no onboard graphics usable on these boards. This is a crappy board in my opinion. But hey, here it is anyway.

Otherwise cheapest Z77.

I don't think that motherboard supports SLI, just crossfire. If you want to go SLI now or in the future I would recommend the ASRock Z77 Extreme3 LGA 1155 Intel Z77.

or this open box ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155

If you are partial to Gigabyte and willing to spend a few dollars more the this open box GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77
