Basically I'm trying to figure out which processor cooling setup I should get. My budget is probably up to 120$ and theme I've managed to show is red/black(somewhat unintentional).
I've read quite a few topics on this, but don't really know for sure. I plan on Overclocking, probably to about 4.5 and don't mind liquid or air/heatsink.
The one I thought would match well and work decently is the Cooler Master v8 gts, but every place is out of stock.
I was also looking at the Kraken x60, but what do others recommend?

I stand by the quality of the Phanteks.

I have the TC-12DX and with my i5 2500k running at 4.5Ghz it barely hits 60'c on intel burn test, barely hits 50'c in Prime95, games around 40-45, idle of 27-30'c.

The Noctua NH-d14 is beast. Definately Worth the buy (do note this model doesn't have PWM fans. The SE2011 version does and you would need an additional mounting kit). With the liquid set up, you might end up upgrading the stock fans, which you are looking to add an extra $15-30 to the initial price for better Uber quiter fans..

Warning, Also the gents mentioned other Air cooler options, ensure you have plenty of room in your case before purchasing it.

Best luck

On my ASUS Maximus VI HERO it's only the fan that overhangs the memory and they can be raised by adjusting the bracket.

The only thing I'm worried about are the fin heatsinks on the ram I'm getting (G.Skill tridents) they are removable, but I was hoping to keep them on. And the ram will be put in first, so even if they won't be accessible it will be fine.

I can speak for the Phanteks TC-12DX, it doesnt get in the way of RAM heatstinks. Its designed to not intrude and be higher up. I have corsair vengence RAM with the high heatsinks and it fits fine.
