Hi all, I just installed a new PSU (XFX 550 Core Edition) and a new graphics card (Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 from Zotac) and after doing so my PC shuts down after displaying the Windows 7 start up screen. You should know that I needed to remove one of my HDDs and unplug my 2 CD/DVD drives in order to make space for the card and therefore the current HDD is plugged in where one of the CD/DVD drives used to be positioned. My motherboard is the Inspiron 545 for what it's worth.

The 3 SATA connections here are the ones which I unplugged 2 CD/DVD drives from and one hard drive. The hard drives were originally connected in the blue and black connections beneath the graphics card, but evidently this is not possible so I changed my C drive to use the longer orange SATA cable to get over the card.
I'm not so worried about having to take out the CD/DVD Drives or hard drive as I wouldn't mind using external versions of the two, although I know at least one of the internal HDDs is required. My problem is that when I start up the PC, it gets to the 'Windows is starting' screen and by the end of the Windows 7 animation, the fan gets increasingly louder and then the computer just stops.
Thanks
