Hello.
Today i was plugging in my keyboard and mouse after removing it before and I accidentally hit the clr cmos button on my z68 extreme 3 gen 3 mobo. After that, when i press power, the computer turns on for a second (proven with fans starting) then turning off and repeating. I can make it boot once with pressing clr cmos but after that, problem continues after i turn it off. I have tried to unplug and clear cmos again, then replugging but problem persists. I have tried to update bios but no difference. Switching from IDE to AHCI or RAID only gives me a blue screen then restarts.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Solution
Hi, You can try replacing the BIOS chip with a new one (it' on socket), or RMA the board.
Try also powering off, unplugging the power cord and pressing the power button for about 30 seconds.

Holding down the power seems to have solved the problem. Thank you so much for the help.
