Hello all!
Can you please help me choose the appropriate motherboard for the pc I intend to build?
I already ordered the following:
- CPU: AMD FD8320FRHKBOX FX-8320 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro Series Blue 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1866 MHZ (PC3 15000) Desktop Memory CMY16GX3M2A1866C9B
- Graphics: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card N660Ti-2GD5/OC
- Drive 1: SanDisk Ultra Plus SSD 256 GB SATA 6.0 Gbps 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive SDSSDHP-256G-G25
- Drive 2: already have it - samsung 1 tb 7200 rpm 16 mb for storage
- CPU cooler: Corsair Hydro Series High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler H60
- LCD: right now I have my older Samsung which is 1440x900

1. from what I've searched, there're very few MBs having PCI-E 3.0 to match the graphic card and it's also quite expensive, so I guess I'm OK with 2.0, because it's not much of a difference in performance.
2. considering the compenents above, which MB is more appropriate? You can also advise other ones:
a. ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

b. MSI 970A-G46 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

c. ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Also, please advise if the existing power supply of 450 W Antec is enough or should I consider buying one?

Thanks a lot gyus for your help!

Think you'll be happier with the Asus, OCs well, and also handles DRAM better...I'd upgrade the PSU to at least a 500 or maybe even 550,,,,,the 450 might work if it's a good one (i.e. SeaSonic or the like and the 450 is continuous, however most 450s aren't

THanks for your answer.
Is it the ASUS being more reliable / better for OC?
