no surround sound with Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro USB Sound Card

Hello , i am having a problem to play metro last light and pro 2014 with dolby digital live , when i use my optical cable i only get left and right speaker sound i have also the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro USB Sound Card and it works with every other game i tried , i have the ddl enabled and this is the first time i have this kind of problem

If it works on other games then the most likely answer lies within the offending games menu options.

Recheck these carefully.

Do a simple Google search on "metro last light x-fi surround" then check the results to see what others have done.

thanks for the reply , in the sound menu of metro there are only 2 option one for the master sound and one for the music , i am searching for 2 days now with no luck so far .

Have You found the solution?
I have the same problem with XFI Surround 5.1 Pro, but it doesnt works with DDL wit any game...
If i disable DDL it works fine with option DD Music or DD Movie (Logitech Z680 - they work optical just perfect with PS3).
But when DDL is on, it works only with 2 front speakers.
Also what i have found, 5.1 DDL test works with Windows test but doesnt with Creative Console 5.1 test (?!).
At the end: DDL doesnt works at all...
