Dell XPS 420 processor upgrade

I have Dell XPS 420 64 bit which is currently running on Intel Core 2 Duo E8400. I want to Upgrade my processor to Quad core. I need information if it is possible to upgrade it from Core 2 Duo to Quad core? Currently my Ram is 8GB. Complete specs are as below.

Mainboard : Dell 0TP406
Chipset : Intel X38
Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00GHz
Memory : 8GB
Video Card : Evga GTX460
Hard Disk : Seagate ST3500620AS (500GB)
Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Service Pack 1 (64-bit)
DirectX : Version 11.00
Windows Performance Index : 5.8 to 7.5

Get the Q9xxx, and Q6600 first if you can find, the last one you buy that is Q8200 or Q8300. Look at the " Best Gaming CPUs For The Money"
