Hi
I have an outhouse with no phone/internet line but does have electricity. I want to transmit my current WIFI signal to this outhouse. What would be the best way to go about this? Would a decent booster be best? it is probably over 500ft away and obviously i would not want to reduce signal strength/speed etc.

Please help :)

Solution
The cheapest way is pick up two of the old blue linksys routers. Set them up so that one is an ap point in the outhouse. Then use is old coffee can or small sat ant to send tight beam to the other router ant that on the outside of the house. The more costly would be a high power indoor router and a outdoor ap.

The new boosters are really good. I was at the Dexter Lake Club a few weeks ago they have one and I can pick up the signal well over 500 feet away. I would start with a booster before spending more money. Good luck with it! Reminds me of a funny poem on the stall in my dorms crapper........ Here I sit all brokenhearted, come to $hit but only farted. :)
