Computer won't post!

So I recently put together my first desktop build, but now it won't post. I'm using a illegitimate version of Windows, and I've tested to make sure it works on another computer (which it does) but for whatever reason this computer will not start. I've tried it without the disc in, with the disc in, I've gotten new RAM because I originally only had one stick, but nothing. Help?

Make sure the motherboard stand offs were screwed into the holes in the motherboard.

Also, be sure you plugged in the auxillary power connector to the CPU.
