I know this will get some negative backlash... but the OCD person inside me wonders if there is anyway to completely disable or hide the startup post screen when my computer boots.

I've already disabled the splash screen, what I'm talking about is the American Megatrends screen that shows you your drives and such.

It's not for boot speed, but just that information has no use to me personally, and I would like to minimize the junk I see everyday.

Does anyone have experience with this or can point me in the right direction?

Best,
Wyatt

One way to get around all of this POST stuff is to use S3 resume instead of turning your PC off. Modern PSUs use so little power in standby that there's no excuse to turn the rig off really.
get into the bios/uefi and see if there is an option for fast boot/boot optimization or something around those lines.

enabling that should do the trick for you. if such options are not available,i am afraid you will not be able to achieve what you want.

good luck and regards.

I'm pretty sure I've optimized it as much as it allows through the menus... Surely there's another way?

if you have already done through the fast boot optimization, than i am relly sorry to say there is nothing much you can do now.

you will have to do with that.

although you can keep your monitor turned off while your computer post s ;)

easiest way you see

good luck and regards
