I'm going to build a desktop, medium build. The cpu I have chosen is the intel i5 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116897&Tpk=BX80646I54570S
My motherboard I've chosen is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132044
Now I need to choose my GPU but don't know which to get...or what I'm doing really lol. But you have to learn somehow and I'm dedicated to do it. So which GPU should I get and any other advice/input is accepted.---P.S..I plan to be using the desktop for blu ray movies, some games maybe bf4, diablo 3, starcraft 2, with medium graphics hopefully high but I do have a budget, all in 1080p on maybe a 36-48 inch 1080 led. Haven't chosen my tv =D

Well with my cpu and motherboard I'm at about $265, maybe less with holiday sales around the corner, with a budget of $700-$1000 USD. Medium build to me would be defined as a build that will get the job done, but not be the best. I know ill have to upgrade it within 2years. I explained what I would be using it for in the last paragraph of my question.

My budget is about $700-$1000 usd. Thanks for the advice! I will be getting the 4570 instead of the 4570s. Could you provide links to the gpu's you mentioned?

Here are the cheaper ones (still great performance)

7950 = http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202026

760 = http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121775

The more expensive cards

7970 = http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125413

770 = http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121770

At this current time I would reccomend the 7950, it would fir your budget nicely and you would be very happy with the performance. The NVIDIA alternatives are more espensive, the 7950 is slightly better and has alot of OC headroom.. Whichever card you choose will deliver amazing performance.

That system will be a faster processor and a better motherboard for your system, this system should run all games (pretty much) maxed out.

Thank you for your work! Its a lot to go over, but it seems like most of the parts I was going to get, bigger power supply though. I will definitely take this build into consideration!

Just a thought tho if you spend $50 more on a really nice case your build with a nice side window and a USB 3.0 header in front (which yours has just not the window, and then get the NZXT Hue ($30.00 @ Newegg) (just search it), and light up case different colors, it makes it look really really expensive and flashy. For like $60-$70 dollars extra, but its totally up to you, here's a video of the hue.
