Approximate Purchase Date: In a week or two. I might wait and buy parts when they are on sale.

Budget Range: (e.g.: 300-400) Around $300 BEFORE rebates. The budget is a bit flexible, but I would like the cheapest possible before rebates since I've had a bad experience with them.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Light gaming. Minecraft, League of Legends,

Are you buying a monitor: Yes, but not included in the budget. I would still like recommendations though.

Parts to Upgrade: Everything.

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I prefer to buy everything off Newegg. However, this may be a bit too picky. Would be best to limit it to Newegg and Amazon, could try NCIX if their prices are better.

Location: San Francisco, California

Parts Preferences: None.

Overclocking: Probably not.

SLI or Crossfire: NO

Your Monitor Resolution: Plan on getting a 1080p monitor since the prices are close, if not cheaper, than other lower resolutions. 1080p seems like the sweet spot right now.

Additional Comments: Looks isn't a problem. Noise isn't much of a problem either. Just looking for the best bang/buck that can max out League on 1080p.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I'm moving to college and my laptop sucks.

I was thinking about this:

I heard mix things about the A10-5800k and I was wondering if it can max League at 1080p.

What I would recommend is to switch to the Antec VP-450 power supply to save a couple bucks.

The 5800K will not be able to max League, but it would be able to reasonably play it. I would recommend going with a lower priced processor (such as an Athlon 750K) and seeing what kind of discrete graphics card you can pay for. Something like a 6670 GDDR5 or even a 6670 DDR3 would be a better bet.

Even a 6570 would outpace the 5800K. Not to say its a bad processor, but a discrete graphics card would be the better route.

I heard that the A10-5800k iGPU is equivalent to a 6670, which is why it can do a dual gpu set-up with it. Is that incorrect?
Nice psu, but I'll rather keep the CX430M because it's only $5 more and there's a MIR that I can do and see if it goes by.
I like to use MIR as a gamble at the end to lower the price, as I know that they don't always work.

This should max league at 1080p, I'm not sure an APU can handle it at those settings maybe high...

I've read some reviews on Newegg and saw some videos on youtube that shows that the A10-5800K can max out League easily. Is this not true?
Honestly, $350 is already stretching it a bit since I have to buy a monitor as well.
However, I do like your choices on the motherboard and psu. I'll take a look into those.

So is the HD7660D equal to the Radeon HD 6670?
And can it max out League on 1080p? Considering League is a fairly low-end game, I would imagine it possible but RazeerZ have been saying that I can't max it out.
