WD My passport storage button for switching to backup by file not showing in WD smartware screen. In the backup option it shows ready to backup by category. There is supposed to be a button for switching to back up file. It is not showing. How can this be resolved? please help.

Thanks for the suggestion to reinstall the software. I was about to do that. I thought I will try restarting the computer one more time and see. I did that. Then on the file backup screen, I still could not find the button. I was looking for it on the top left corner of the screen. I then thought of scrolling down, and there it was at the bottom left of the screen. It was probably there all along!!! The problem was the right side vertical bar graphics is so poor, that you don't notice that you have to scroll it down.

In any case that problem is solved for now; hope there are no more problems.
