windows wont boot after installing soundcard

Hi.. I have a new build...about 3 months old..and all was fine. I order a soundcard and installed it tonight, I booted up, loaded the drivers, rebooted, upgraded the drivers and software,rebooted,but now it wont boot. I pulled the card and still nothing.The card is a Soundblaster ZX. any thoughts?

When you say it won't boot, do you mean that it won't turn on at all (no lights, noises, etc.) or it won't load your operating system?

It will turn on, do the post thing, then the windows loading screen starts and it( the PC) restarts. that's as far as it goes. Sometimes it will go to the Repair your windows or start windows normally screen, but the repair finds nothing, and starting windows normally will do the above. It is win 7 ultimate

Can you boot into safe mode and try to restore to before you installed the new drivers?

Ok so here is what I did.. I cleared the CMOS and started up the PC. Now it works fine. So now my Question is.. What the hell happened, and why? And will it do it again if I reinstall the sound card? How could sound card drivers effect my BIOS? HEre is my system
