i'm using 7750 and i have only 17 inch monitor which runs at 1240x1024...unfortunately crysis 3 only runs at high settings 0xAA and 4xAF 24-40 fps...now i want to improve my pc performance..i heard that crossfiring have less increase in performance at low resolutions....

should i sell my hd 7750 for 60$ and buy 222$ 7850 .. OR... buy another 7750 for 107$ and crossfire it?? pls help and thank you

I see no point in crossfire to play at that resolution.
Dual cards are usually for dual/triple monitors setup at 1080 or larger resolutions.
If you want to increse performance, get a better card.

And were do you live? The 7850 shouldnt cost more than 130-150$(tops) it is the equivelent of a 650ti .

Like i said a single 7850 will be better, at such a low resoluton i think you can play at high settings, provided you have a good CPU.
What are your full specs?

Btw, i dont think you can expect to play crysis and metro at 16AA even at low res like that (no single card can do that).

A sinlge 7850 is around the equivalent of my NVIDIa 650ti boost, playing at 1080, i max everything apart from the AA and a couple of textures. I get 45 60+ no problem in most places/situations.
At that res you have no problem getting a better frame rate than you have now.

A 7850 is a huge leap from a 7750

i am playing crysis 3 with 8xAF and 1xAA at medium settings...21-55 fps very playable but the graphics are horrible...if i crossfire it maybe i can put it on high settings 4xAA and 16xAF...

i think i'm gonna buy another 7750 cuz it will save me some money..
